adorable legos

My 4 year old who loves Frozen had to have this. Once we received it, she was eager to start building. the box says ages 6-12, which is probably accurate. since my daughter is 4, I had to assist her in putting the Legos together, but it was a fun together-time project. I was actually surprised at how well she was able to find each piece needed and was pretty good at putting them together correctly for the most part.

I was just there to oversee and tell her if she was putting anything on wrong. She had a great time building it and felt a sense of pride once she completed it. Her only complaint was that the castle was small than she expected. But as a 4 year old, I can only image what she thought the size would be (life size maybe?) who knows!

As far as what's included: the ice castle, Elsa, Anna, a sled, Olaf, and a picnic setting. It is very nice. Hopefully one day Lego will make another set to include Kristoff and Sven.

We Loved It! Super Cute! By Lacylu9

We loved this product. Our 5 year old made an unboxing video....you can tell she is impressed.

The instructions are clear, concise and easy to follow. Our 5 year old took a good long while creating this castle....so while she loved it, we probably would advise you stick to the recommended age of 6-12.

Nice mini dolls, disappointing castle.

I'm glad they made an Elsa's palace set but I hope they remake it in the future, this rendition is a bit disappointing, they skipped the doors to the upstairs which would have been great in clear blue and feature a lot in the movie, same with the chandelier.

There is a weird piece of Chi on the ground floor and some mis-matched ice creams (?!) one set of skates and spring flowers. What's with the rubies and purple bricks all around it? The castle in the film is made of *ice* maybe these white bricks are stronger than the "ice" bricks? I'm not sure the designers have actually watched the film.

What is good is Anna Elsa and Olaf, they are nicely detailed and a welcome addition to our disney princess mini doll's. We have several of the disney princess lego sets and this one had the highest anticipation in our house and probably the most disappointing to build, apart from the mini dolls.

Amazing fun set!

This is a neat Lego set for the Frozen fan.
It has 298 pieces which includes Elsa - Anna - and Olaf.
The pieces to make up the caste are so unique unlike other pieces in the Lego friends sets that my daughter has which makes this one a bit easier to keep track of when taken apart.
It is a very neat and different set that my daughter has just loved and been playing with non stop since she got it.

She has been using the other figures from her lego jungle sets and lego friends sets in this set.
It is fun to watch her enjoy a toy so much and be creative when playing with it.
The princesses in this set are so much cuter than the other Disney Lego sets we have thought about getting.

Really hope they create more sets from Frozen to add along with it.

Very small, considering the price tag

I bought this as a birthday present for my daughter who of course loves anything and everything Frozen. I wanted to encourage her to play with Legos more, so thought it would be a great gift. I know Legos aren't cheap, but I have to say, I was REALLY SURPRISED at how freaking small the box was.

For that price, I thought it would be double the size. Was it so much because of the Disney licensing? I don't know, but this box is tiny. The castle you build is tiny. But it has given my daughter hours and hours of playing with it (by herself, no less) and since she loves it, I'm giving it 4 stars. I just expected for that price, there'd be a bit more Lego.
